AGI Networking Reception in Delhi

Association of Geospatial Industries (AGI) organised a networking reception to facilitate interactions among the various stakeholders of Indian Geospatial Industry. About 35 individuals including prominent officials from Government departments, key executives from Geospatial Companies and the Governing Council of AGI attended the event. Key office bearers from Ministry of Earth Sciences, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Information Technology, National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning, and others were present there. Companies such as Google Inc., Map My India, Pitney Bowes Mapinfo, RMSI, Stesalit, Digital Globe, IDS Technologies, Asim, Satpalda, and others attended the networking reception.

The event was organised in order to promote active communications between the government departments who are the users of Geospatial technology and the companies who provides software, services and solutions. AGI as an industry association is working to create enabling environment for adoption and use of Geospatial technologies. This networking reception is a step towards fulfilling the different objectives of AGI.
